The development is planned for 159–177 Progress Road, Richlands, with frontage to Progress Road and Acacia Street. HomeCo said it will be a retail destination with a full-line supermarket forming the centre’s main retail anchor.
The proposed Coles supermarket will cover approximately 3,918 square metres, alongside 18 specialty retail tenancies. HomeCo listed food, fresh food operators, services, and leisure providers among the planned retail categories, but does not identify the individual specialty retailers in its website. While grocery shopping will be a major part of the offering, the planned specialty tenancies are intended to provide additional retail and service options.
What the new Richlands shopping centre will include

Six dedicated click-and-collect parking spaces are planned for Coles customers who order groceries online and collect them at the store. The arrangement is intended to accommodate both in-store shopping and online orders.
HomeCo’s Facebook announcement promotes opening celebrations, family activities, community events, specials and giveaways, although it does not specify dates or a detailed program.
Parking and road access among the development’s key features

HomeCo identifies Progress Road and Acacia Street as the centre’s frontage roads and highlights connections to the Centenary and Ipswich motorways. The company said the centre is intended to serve more than 150,000 residents within a five-kilometre radius.
The website listed more than 260 on-grade car spaces, with approximately half expected to be covered by shade sails. The plans also identify access from Progress Road and Acacia Street.

The planned supermarket, specialty retailers, and on-site parking will add another shopping option to Richlands’ retail offering. The range of services available to residents will depend on the businesses that ultimately occupy the specialty tenancies.
HomeCo has promoted the centre as coming soon, but the project information does not specify a public opening date or detailed launch program. These details, along with announcements naming individual retailers, would give residents a clearer picture of what to expect when the centre opens.
