Forest Lake juniors Chloe Foster and Jenna Parent both finished fourth in their respective events at the Class AA state track and field championships at Hamline University June 9-10.broadstreet.zone(48036);
Foster established a new Forest Lake record in the preliminary round of the 300 hurdles, lowering her own school mark to 44.87. That result placed her second in her heat and earned automatic advancement to the final.
In the championship race, Foster finished fourth (44.98) to earn an all-state medal and a place on the podium.
Parent earned the same set of honors in the pole vault after clearing 11 feet. Parent established a new Ranger record earlier this year when she cleared 11 feet, 4 inches.
Those performances earned a total of 12 points
