Lindie Lou (Mellema) Martin, age 64 of Scandia, MN, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2017.
Lindie Lou (Mellema) Martin was born on September 23, 1952 in Aitkin, MN at Draper Maternity. She was the daughter of Otto and Anna Barbara (Weistroffer) Mellema. She went through the 10th grade at Aitkin High School in Aitkin, MN. Lindie was united in marriage to Thomas Glenn Martin on December 20, 1969 at Monticello Alliance Church in Monticello, MN. They were married 24 years and 11 months when her husband Thomas passed away on November 25, 1994. She was a machine operator for 20 years at Graco Inc. in Northeast Minneapolis, MN. She liked working on genealogy, finding her past and present relatives. She enjoyed traveling to meet the relatives that she found in her searches. Lindie had four children, Angela Rae Mellema, Twyla Dee Martin, Tanya Rose Martin and Thomas Glenn Martin Jr.
