The matter was briefly mentioned and has been adjourned until June 17 at Richlands Magistrates Court, where he will appear via video link. No application for bail was made.

Police have confirmed that a crime scene was established at the home and say there is no ongoing threat to the public. Investigations are continuing as officers work to piece together the events leading up to the stabbing.
