John E. Harrington

John Elroy Harrington, age 78, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, passed away on August 11, 2017.
He is survived by loving wife of 57 years, Marilyn; two daughters, Joan (Pete) TerMaat of North Oaks and Carol Joy (Craig) Paschke of Golden Valley; five grandchildren, Morgan, Ben, Mary, Max, and Tara; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents, George and Hedwig; and siblings, George Harrington (Pat) and Gloria Klein (Bob).
John was born October 11, 1938 in New York City, NY. He joined the USAF at age 17. Stationed in Wadena, MN, he met Marilyn and they were married on April 30, 1960. John graduated from the University of MN and John had a successful career as a CPA. John passed on his business knowledge through teaching accounting courses at several Twin Cities colleges for many years, as well as volunteering at every church he was a member

Nancy Jane Docken

Nancy Jane Docken (Alstrup) was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 5, 1948 and raised in Bloomington, Minnesota. She crossed over on Saturday, August 12, 2017.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tom; sons, Chris and Corey; loving daughter-in-law, Sarah; cherished granddaughter, Aubrey; brother, Dave; pets, Doc and Molly; other family and friends.
Nancy graduated from St. Cloud State College in 1970. She worked as a flight attendant for 11 years with North Central/Republic Airlines. She was a proud member and volunteer at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, East Bethel, Minnesota for 35 years. Nancy participated as a confirmation teacher, Befriender, communion coordinator/server, Prayers of the Church, Healing Prayers, Bead Ministry coordinator, and Tree of Life Library committee member. She enjoyed sports, bowling, golf, cards, and especially beading.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 19001 Jackson St NE, East Bethel. The family

Mr. and Mrs. Don Theisen of Forest Lake are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hannah Theisen, to Rico Roman, son of Deb and Harvey Roman of Ellsworth, Wisconsin.
Hannah, a graduate of Brown College in radio broadcasting, is a sales manager with The Lumber Exchange Building downtown Minneapolis. broadstreet.zone(48036);
