REQUEST FOR CLASS 5 QUOTES
The Board of Supervisors of the Town of Linwood will receive sealed quotes for the 2017 season for up to 6,000 tons of Class 5. The Class 5 material shall meet the requirements of the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Standard Specifications for Construction, 2016 Edition, Section 3138.2.D Surfacing Aggregate and Section 3138.2.E Gradation Requirements per Table 3138-3 except as modified below.broadstreet.zone(48036);
Class 5 per MnDOT 3138 shall be modified to 10-12% passing the No. 200 sieve. The quote price per ton shall include hauling, spreading, and grading the material on specified Linwood Township roads, as directed.
Gravel thickness and width will be as directed by the Linwood Township Road Supervisor.
Certificates of liability insurance and proof of workmans compensation insurance must accompany quotes.
Sealed quotes, clearly marked 2017 Class 5,.will be accepted at the Linwood Town Hall, 22817 Typo Creek Drive, Stacy, MN 55079, until 4:00 pm on
