Girls cross-country wins 3rd straight Suburban East title

The Ranger cross-country squads hosted their only “home meet” on Oct. 18 when the long-distance might of the Suburban East Conference came to Tanners Brook Golf Club off US-61 south of downtown Forest Lake.broadstreet.zone(48036);
In one of the strongest cross-country conferences in the state, the Forest Lake girls once again proved that they are the strongest of the strong, placing all five of their scoring runners in the top 15 to score 33 points, less than half of their nearest competitor Roseville (78). White Bear Lake (82), East Ridge (88), and Stillwater (121) rounded out the top five.
“The girls all ran well,” girls coach John Fick said. “It worked out great.”
