Junior volleyball teams place in fall tournament

After the Forest Lake Area School Board voted to drop a number of junior high sports in February, the Forest Lake Area Athletic Association and Lakes Volleyball Club began working together to organize the Junior Ranger Volleyball program. Girls in the seventh and eighth grades this fall were able to play volleyball without skipping a beat, and the season was a huge success. Benner qualifies for NCAA Championship
Forest Lake graduate Emma Benner, now a freshman at Purdue, qualified for the NCAA Division I cross-country championship by finishing seventh at the Great Lakes regional meet in Madison on Saturday.
