The Forest Lake girls golf team finished the two-day Class AAA state championship with 691 strokes to place fifth in the team standings.broadstreet.zone(48036);
Edina ran away with the state title (607), followed by Red Wing (643), Chanhassen (665), and Buffalo (666).
The Rangers defeated Rogers (709), Rosemount (716) and White Bear Lake (765).
The championship was held at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids June 13-14.
Senior Hannah Kohls led the Rangers with 162 strokes, tying for 20th overall. Kohls shot 40-37 on day one and 43-42 on day two.
Junior Maija Tanberg finished 30th (167), followed by sophomore Brooke Odland (57th, 180), senior Anna Schmidtke (71st, 189) and sophomore Emma Schaffer (79th, 201).broadstreet.zone(50962);
