The U.S. Air Force Academy invited a select group of approximately 600 young men and women from around the nation to attend the Air Force Academy Summer Seminar program this year. Summer seminar is a fast-paced leadership experience for rising seniors in high school. This program helps educate, motivate, and prepare selected students who are considering applying for admission to USAFA.
Riley Keck, a resident of Forest Lake and a student at Chisago Lakes Baptist School, will participate in the 2017 U.S. Air Force Academy Summer Seminar program.broadstreet.zone(48036);
Summer seminar teaches prospective applicants about life at the Air Force Academy, where academics, athletics, and professional training are key elements in developing leaders. Each student will attend a six-day session and experience a glimpse of USAFA life.
Students will have the opportunity to live in cadet dormitories and eat at the cadet dining facility, explore academic majors through workshops taught by academy faculty members
