Senior Dance
The East Bethel seniors will host a dance from 1 to 4 p.m. May 5 at the community center one mile east of Highway 65 on 221 Avenue. Cost is $6 and includes lunch. The featured performer is Dick Szyplinski.
COLUMBUS
Family fun night
Columbus Elementary, 17345 Notre Dame St, will host a family fun night May 5 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. with bingo, a basket raffle, inflatables, food, and games.
SCANDIA
Chicken dinner
The Scandia-Marine Lions will host chicken dinner May 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. with all funds going toward providing scholarships to students. Thirty students have applied for $1,000 each. The dinner will feature chicken, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, rolls, beverages, and dessert. The Kentucky Derby will be shown on the big screen, there will be a silent auction, and there will also be a wine cork pull. The cost is $8 in advance and $10 at the
