Bluegrass festival
Area churches will host a bluegrass festival with a silent auction July 29 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Lakeside Memorial Park. Featured performers include the Sawtooth Brothers, King Wilkie’s Dream, and North Shore Trail. Proceeds from the event will benefit Feed My Starving Children, St. Andrews Family Shelter, and Our Lady of the Mountains Elementary School.
Clothing giveaway
A clothing giveaway will be held at Willowbrook Church, 840 Lake St. S., Aug. 2 from 5 to 8 p.m. Guests will be given a time slot and a bag for clothing.
