Boys basketball finds winning way
The Forest Lakes boys hoops team took tough single-point losses in its first two games against Coon Rapids (53-52) and Centennial (75-74), but the Rangers rebounded with two straight wins against Blaine (72-64) on Dec. 8 and Cambridge-Isanti (61-56) on Dec. 10. The Blaine victory avenges a loss in last year’s Section 7AAAA championship game. Senior guard Jake Larson (pictured) scored in double figures in all three games. The Rangers host Duluth East on Friday, Dec. 16.broadstreet.zone(48036);
